Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D) Thursday

Warmly welcomed at NoiBai Airport by our guide we then transfer you to your hotel in Hanoi to begin Vietnam adventure tour. For this day, depending on your flight we will arrange a suitable city tour for you to get some first impressions of Hanoi -the capital. It can be the water -puppet show, cyclo tour to the old trading quarter. Welcome dinner featured with Vietnamese specialty. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2: Ha Noi - Ba Be Lake (B, L, D)

AM.: Depart for BaBe Lake , a mountain area, which is nearly 200 km far from Hanoi . Stop over in Thai Nguyen Town for an interesting visit to the M useum of Vietnamese Ethnology .
PM: Visit Ba Be Lake with 3 hour boat trip on Nang River and visit Puong Grottos, and enjoy beautiful BaBe National Park and lake. Overnight at ethnic village, named PacNgoi where visitors can get to know about Tay People. Enjoy daily meals of ethnic minorities. Overnight on stilt house.

 

 Day 3: Trekking from Ba Be to Tay Villages (B, L, D) 
AM: 7 hour hard trekking to visit Tay 's village accompanied by local guide. Picnic lunch will be arranged. We arrive the village of the Tay people, it is time for exploring the village and their way of living. Overnight in the village of ethnic people

Day 4: Trekking back to Ba Be Lake - TuyenQuang (B, L, D)

AM: Walking back Babe Lake . Resting
PM: Depart to Tuyen Quang, an old headquarter of Viet Nam Revolution. Lunch on the way. Overnight in Tuyen Quang.

Day 5: Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang (B, L, D)

AM: Depart to Ha Giang Town, amazing scenery on route.
PM: Free time to visit this beautiful town. Overnight in Ha Giang in a hotel.

Day 6: Ha Giang - Dong Van (B,L, D)

Depart in the early morning to visit the wonderful world of ethnic minorities people. Going on the moutain with many impressive sceneries and visiting many basically ethnic villages and colourful weekly markets. Lunch at Quang Ba Town. Overnight in Dong Van guest house.

Day 7: Dong Van - Ha Giang(B, L, D)

Drive back to Ha Giang from Dong Van continually to discover some cheerful and colourful ethnic Markets on the way. Lunch at Yen Ninh Town . Overnight in Ha Giang.

Day 8: Ha Giang - ThanhHa Resort (B, L, D)

Transfer back to HaGiang town. Enjoy ThanhHa resort hot stream. Visit Hmong villages and Trang village near ThanhHa Resort. Overnight in Thanhha Resort.

Day 9: Ha Giang - Bac Ha (B, L, D)

Leave for BacHa via Khe Pass , Tuyen Quang province. This day is a hard travelling by car but there will be beautiful scenery on route. Overnight at Saomai hotel.

Day 10: Bac Ha (B, L, D)  
Visit CanCau Market (on Saturday)- an outstanding feature of ethnic people in the North, or visit BacHa Market which is organized weekly only in Sunday. 2 hour trekking to discover villages of ethnic minorities (SanDiu, HaNhi, Xa ...) that remain natural and un-spoilt by tourists. Buying souvenir from ethnic people. Short walk to discover some surrounding villages (4-6 hours) with local guide. Overnight in Saomai Hotel.

Day 11: Bac Ha - Sapa (B, L, D)

Depart for Sapa, driving along the border line with China and stop at the border gate for visiting a nice temple. Drive to Sapa. Time for resting in this lovely town. Overnight in Sapa.
  
Day 12: Sapa - Tam Duong (B, L, D)

AM: Visit Sapa Market before your Departure for Tam Duong. Stop at one of the best waterfalls in the area-Silver Waterfall and view a huge valleys on top of the highest pass of Vietnam that called ”Heaven Gate” Overnight in TamDuong- PhongTho.

Day 13: Tam Duong - Lai Chau (B, L, D)

A.M.: Trekking by shortcut to SinHo Villages. Car will run free and meet travelers at Sinho Village . Continue drive to LaiChau Town . Overnight in LaiChau. Overnight in guest's house

Day 14: Laichau - Dien Bien Phu (B, L, D)

Leave LaiChau for Dien Bien Phu . Visit the old battle field. Overnight in DienBien.

Day 15: Dien Bien - Son la (B, L, D)

Am: leave Dien Bien for Sonla. Check in hotels.
Pm: Visit Old Prison of Sonla. Overnight at Hotel in Son La.

Day 16: Sonla - Hanoi (B, L)

Am: Back to Hanoi . Enjoy sightseeing on the route. Stop over at Maichau Valley .
Pm: 17h00 Arrive Hanoi . Overnight at Hotel in Hanoi .

Day 17: Ha Noi Dept (B)
 
Am: Free time for shopping until we transfer you to the airport. Good journey home!.
 
 
This Vietnam adventure vocation is for active people.
DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL
 
Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. Meet and transfer to hotel. Take a glimpse of Ha Noi on a short city tour to see the cultural richness of the capital of Vietnam. Tour includes Ngoc Son Temple or pagoda of the jade mountain standing at the northern end of Sword Lake which provides relaxing atmosphere. Then proceed to the Old Quarter consisting of 36 commercial streets, each lined with ancient architectural works harmonized with lakes lying between. Overnight stay in Hanoi.
 


 DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR 
Continue the sightseeing tour in Ha Noi by the first visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the body of Ho Chi Minh is well kept. Then visit his house built on stilts situated nearby. Followed by the visit to One Pillar Pagoda, built by the Emperor Ly Thai Tong in 1049; it was built of wood on a single stone pillar, designed to resemble a lotus blossom which is a symbol of purity. Afterward, go for the Temple of Literature with its ancient Vietnam architecture, dedicated to Confucian cult which broke the Buddhist monopoly in education. The temple was then regarded as the site of the first university of Vietnam Continue the route to the Art museum which gathers a collection of prestige artifacts of Vietnam. Historical Museum is the next destination; here you will see the all encompassing Vietnam, its past and also its future. Enjoy the remarkable evening in Hanoi with Water Puppet Show which will make you appreciate the cultural background of Vietnam with the spectacular techniques of performance. Overnight stay in Ha Noi.

DAY 3: HANOI - SA PA
 
In early morning, depart for Sapa by a ten-hour-road trip. On the way, enjoy the majestic greatness of Western North Mountains. Check-in at hotel upon arrival in Sapa and have dinner as well as overnight.

DAY 4: SA PA TREKKING TOUR
 
Start a day in Sapa with a trek for five kilometers. On the trail, you will visit Catcat Mountain to experience the traditional life of Black H'Mong people living around the region and then see the electric-hydro waterfall built by French in 1925. Along the way, enjoy panoramic view of the entire area with many terraced paddy fields. Continue to visit Silver waterfall, one of the famous attraction in Sapa and O Quy Ho pass which offer magnificent view. In the afternoon, visit Dragon Jaw Mountain and overview Sapa Town from the height. After dinner, attend “Love Market” of Red Dao minority people, one of the characteristic cultures of minority people in Northwestern highlands of Vietnam (every Saturday evening). Overnight in Sapa.

DAY 5: SA PA - LAI CHAU
 
Transfer to Lai Chau inhabited by a large number of hill tribe people. On the way to Phong Tho, visit some ethnic villages. Continue to Lai Chau to have dinner an overnight.

DAY 6: LAI CHAU - DIEN BIEN PHU
 
Today, you will be lost in the memory of wartime. Firstly, visit the museum of the battle field, and 
headquarters of Colonel Christian Catries. Old French tanks and artillery pieces can be seen here also. Dinner and overnight in Dien Bien Phu.

DAY 7: DIEN BIEN PHU - SON LA
 
Transfer to Son La and touch the air of historic event at French prison. Then relax and free your mind at Hot Springs and natural caves in the area. Dinner and overnight in Son La.

DAY 8: SON LA - HANOI
 
Return to Ha Noi while visiting small ethnic hamlets scattering along the way from Yen, Chau, Moc Chao to Hoa Binh (Muong Tahi people). Arrive in Ha Noi and overnight

DAY 9: HANOI - DEPARTURE 
Transfer to Ha Noi AIRPORT for departure.

Day 1: Ha Noi - Quang Binh, Ha Giang (L, D)
 
Departure from Ha Noi by 4WD, or private vehicle to Ha Giang. Lunch on the way. Arrival in the afternoon in Quang Binh, the evening's can be spent watching and enjoying their Traditional Fire Dancing on hot coals (If booked). Also tasting their locally produced Corn wine. If it is particularly hot there, you can swim in the Bac (Silver) River. Very pleasant and giving you a feeling of being completely at one with your surroundings, and being in times past. Dinner and overnight in Quang Binh - either the government guest house, or a homestay with a local family. At present, that is the choice of accomodation available.More plans are being made to provide Quang Binh with other alternatives.


 Day 2: Quang Binh full day (B, L, D)
 
After breakfast, Bamboo rafting is here to have a gentle and relaxing ride along the Silver River but so interesting. This takes you through a few Tribal Villages where you can stop to chat and have lunch with the Locals. In the afternoon, a quick visit to the caves, we will check out a local Cave, called Pac Tham. This cave is very interesting and has a stream running through it and a big pool which is deep. You can have a swim here if you desire!. O/N in Quang Binh.

Day 3: Quang Binh - Ha Giang (B, L, D)
 
After breakfast, A Visit to the city, which is situated on the banks of two rivers Lo and Mien, the town is perched picturesquely between the superb mountains of Can and MoNeo. The daily Ha Giang Markets, near the Lo River in the old quarter, is especially dense. Here you can find all the ethnic minorities of Hagiang in many different colored costumes. This provides a great opportunity to wander around and take great photo's and observe the hustle and bustle. After lunch, we visit the Ethnology Museum : many archeological, ethnological, historical objects
are exhibited especially the ancient ''Gong'' made of  bronze, demonstrates a culture since the ancient time. Dinner and overnight in Ha Giang Town. 

Day 4: Ha Giang - Dong Van(B, L)
 
After breakfast, Depart to Dong Van via Quan Ba. Stop in Quan Ba pass ''the Paradise door'' where the view is superb, with green valleys and rows of identical hills and mountains. (The Quan Ba Sunday morning markets are one of the most important and interesting meeting places). In this region you find the White H’mong, the Red Dzao and Tay ... who live only in the villages around Quan Ba District. Lunch en route. Continue on to Dong Van District. We will stop to visit the H’Mong King Palace, built in 1900, Vuong Chi Duc was recognized King of H’mong tribes by French colonialists. In 1927, he was appointed as general of French army. In 1944, he surrendered to President Ho Chi Minh. Dinner and overnight in Dong Van.

Day 5: Dong Van - Meo Vac - Tuyen Quang (B, L, D)
 
After breakfast, we visit the Dong Van market and the ancient streets. Lunch in Yen Minh and then continue to Tuyen Quang via Meo Vac. Hot mineral bath available if desired. Dinner and overnight in Tuyen Quang. 
 
Day 6: Tuyen Quang - Thai Nguyen - Ha Noi (B, L, D)
 
TanTrao: a small valley lying between mountains and jungles in Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang Province . Tan Trao is a historical area that was used as a resistance base before the August 1945 Revolution. Tan Trao was a temporary capital of the independent section of the country, where the Vietnamese Communist Party held several meetings, especially during August 1945. On the 13th, attendees voted in favor of a general revolution during a National Conference meeting of the Communist Party. On the 16th, the National Assembly Conference was held. Ten major policies were voted by the Vietminh, the League for the Independence of Vietnam, and a temporary government chaired by President Ho Chi Minh was established. The Vietminh army was also founded on that day. Also on the 16th, the Temple Government led by President Ho Chi Minh had a meeting in the Tan Trao Communal House. The participants of this conference stayed at the Hong Thai Communal House. One hundred meters north of the communal house is the Tan Trao Banyan Tree.
Between June and August 1945, before he returned to Hanoi , President Ho Chii Minh resided in this area in a cottage erected by the liberation soldiers.
Return to Ha Noi via Thai Nguyen province.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL - HANOI
 
On arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you are met and transferred to Ha Noi hotel , Vietnam's capital, is a stylish and gracious city that retains an unique old world charm and some Asia's most striking colonial architecture. The many lakes and parks make for relaxing atmosphere. (If time permit ) we enjoy a short cyclo excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. O/N in Ha Noi.(B)


 DAY  2 : HANOI
 
Today we enjoy a full day city tour starting  with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts. This complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. We follow this with a trip to the Temple of Literature well known as Vietnam's first university and the History Museum, which displays an excellent collection of artifacts illustrating the Vietnamese history. Our next stop is the impressive Ethnologic Museum, dedicated to Vietnam's 54 hill tribe groups, some of which we will see on our forthcoming days. We also visit the peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem with its sacred temple and the vibrant Dong Xuan Market before attending a performance of Hanoi's famous water puppets. O/N in Hanoi. (B)

DAY 3: HANOI - BABE LAKE
 
The journey northeast begins as we depart the town and pass through the undulating terrain of tea plantation and the many timeless villages linked to the road which is the main artery of trade between the northeastern region and the capital city. This is our first glimpse of rural Vietnam and sets the tone for the days ahead. Depending on road and traffic conditions our drive will leave us with a mid to late afternoon arrival in Ba Be lakes. After checking into hotel we will have free time to walk around or simply to relax on the lake. O/N in Ba Be. (B)

DAY  4: BABE - CAOBANG
 
The national park of Ba Be is centred on large Ba Be Lake. This is just one continuous water body although its name means ''three lakes''. Today we embark on our boat navigating around the lake, which gives us a taste of relaxation and an enjoyable visit to the park . Along the way, we make stopover at some hill tribe villages before getting off the beaten track to the Dau Dang Waterfalls. The cruise continues on the main water source of Ba Be Lake up to Cho Ra. At this small village, we meet up with our vehicle and drive towards Cao Bang, our final destination. O/N in Cao Bang. (B,L)

DAY 5: CAO BANG - BANGIOC WATERFALL - CAOBANG
 
Heading out of the town we start venturing into the most northern region of Cao Bang Province. The scenic roads traverse Trung Khanh before arriving at Ban Gioc Waterfall, which boasts the largest waterfall in Vietnam. We visit this sight and follow our trip to Nguom Ngao Caves, just off the road to Cao Bang. This enormous cave has two main entrances and one branch reaching almost all the way to the waterfalls where is a 'secret' entrance. A local guide is provided for your exploration of the cave. On the way back, you can make stops as you please, to visit hill tribe villages and take pictures. O/N in Cao Bang. (B,L)

DAY 6: CAO BANG - PAC PO CAVE - LANG SON
 
An early morning departure to the historical cave of Pac Po where Ho Chi Minh set up the headquarter for the August Vietnamese Revolution in 1945. After seeing this vestige site  we set off on a half day drive past the verdant and rugged mountain landscape, with a mixture of terraced rice fields and hill villages. We also traverse Dong Khe and That Khe on our way to Lang Son. This border town had been all destroyed during the recent Sino - Vietnamese war, but was rebuilt to become an important trade center in north eastern region. O/N in Lang Son. (B)

DAY 7: LANG SON - TIEN YEN - HALONG
 
The central market of Lang Son and the legendary Tam Thanh Cave are visited this morning before we travel by roads to Halong Bay, truly one of Vietnam's most impressive scenic sights. The journey is long and challenging at times as we drive through many mountain areas. Their breathtaking scenery is some of the best in Asia. We encounter en route many ethnic minorities doing their daily works such as logging, herding buffalo and tilling the field. On arrival in Halong we spend the remainder of the day for a well -earned rest on a beach. O/N in Ha Long. (B)

DAY  8 : HALONG - HANOI
 
Today we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Ha Long Bay. Views of sailing junks navigating past over 3,000 limestone islands and out crops jutting out of the clear and emerald water of the bay are nothing short of spectacular. These limestone karst formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. After a seafood lunch on board we continue our trip and have time for another swim. We return Ha Noi , stopping en route at Dong Trieu pottery village. O/N in Ha Noi. (B,L)
DAY  9: HANOI - DEPARTURE
 
There is a free time for you to relax and further explore Ha Noi. The trip ends after your transfer to Noi Bai Airport for departure. (B)

Day 1: Hà Nội – Me Village – Ha Giang (320 km)
 
- Picked up at 08.00 and depart from Hanoi for Ha Giang for 7 hours drive along the national road 2 via Viet Tri, Tuyen Quang to begin this adventure tour.
- Take some photo stops along the way: Palm forests, tea plantations, stunning valleys along the way.
- Lunch break at Tuyen Quang town.
- Arrive in Ha Giang town at 04.00, check in hotel for freshen up and then take a walk for an hour to visit Me Village of the Tay ethnic peoples which is beautifully set in a stunning valley 3 km away from the hotel.

 Day 2: Hà Giang - Meo Vac - Dong Van
 
- Breakfast in a local restaurant and leave Ha Giang following national road 34 for 3 hours(94 km) via Bac Me and Bao Lam tonwn lets, along the Gam River. Enjoy a short walk for half an hour around a small valley in Minh Ngoc commune (32 km from Ha Giang).
- Lunch break at Bao Lam town let in a local restaurant – local food
- Drive for 2 hours uphill to Meo Vac(72 km) and spend an hour visiting this charming town and walking  along the Nho Que River, paying visit to a small village of the Nung peoples on the bank of the river.
- Continue driving 21 km uphill the Ma Pi Leng pass, famous for its magnificence with several viewing stops. Arriving in Dong Van in late afternoon, check in hotel for a short rest before enjoying a walk along the ancient street of Dong Van.

Day 3: Dong Van - Lung Cu - Vuong Palace - Pho Bang - Quan Ba
 
- Leaving Dong Van for Lung Cu Commune, the northernmost land of Vietnam (26 km – 45 m drive). Here clients will pay visit to a village of the Lo Lo peoples for a unique culture discovery of this very small ethnic group. If on Friday, clients will join locals for the weekly market here with chances to meet tribal peoples such as H’mong, Lo Lo, Han… in their best traditional costume.
- Leaving Lung Cu for another 45 m drive to the historical site of the Vuong Family Palace – Known as the palace of the H’mong King which located in stunning and magnificent valley of Xa Phin. Beside paying visit to the palace and enjoying marvelous scenery, there is a chance to attent the local market here of on the date of the Snake or Pig (Lunar Calindar)
- Continue the trip for 23 km road ride to Pho Bang, the ancient town featured with 2 storeys clay houses, yin & yang tile roofs. Spend an hour walking along the narrow streets of this charming town. If on date of the Dragon or Dog, the clients will have chance to attend the traditional market of the tribal peoples.
- Lunch break in Pho Bang in a local restaurant or picnic.
- Continue driving downhill along road 4C 27 km to Yen Minh and passing over the Yen Minh mountain pass with some stops for marvelous scenery. Then onto Tam Son townlet of Quan Ba District. Enjoy several short walk along the way for beautiful landscapes and paying visit to villages of the H’mong and Dao.
- Arriving in Tam Son late in the afternoon, check in local guesthouse and free walk to explore this charming town let.

Day 4: Quan Ba – Ha  Giang – Ha Noi
 
- Leaving Tam Son town let and drive uphill to the Cong Troi(Quan Ba Heaven Gate) which is famous for the great view of the Tam Son valley with the “ Twin Hills”. Clients may wish to take a short walk to visit small hamlet of the H’mong here before continuing downhill along the road 4C to Ha Giang and onto Hanoi.
- Lunch stop at Bac Quang town let.

- Arriving back to Hanoi in late afternoon, about 6.00 pm and trip end.

Day 1: Hanoi – Thai Nguyen - Tuyen Quang – Quang Binh ( –,L,D)

-Depart at 08.00 from Hanoi by vehicle for Thai Nguyen City. Arrive in Thai Nguyen at 09.30. Paying visit to the famous Museum of ethnology here. 
-10.00 Leaving Thai Nguyen for Tan Trao. Visit the historical site of Tan Trao which is called the capital of the resistant forces(Vietminh) in the war against the French from 1946 – 1954. Visit Ha village of the Tay ethnic peoples.
-12.00 lunch at a local restaurant in Tan Trao Commune.
-The road trip from Thai Nguyen to Tuyen Quang along national road 37 also offers beautiful landscapes featuring the midland between the 
northern mountainous region and the Red River delta with large valleys lying amongst hilly land and mountains. The region is also home to several ethnic groups such as Tay, Dao, Cao Lan.
-Leaving Tan Trao at 13.00 for 2 hours driving via Tuyen Quang Town and then following national road 2 uphill to Vinh Tuy.
-Take a short break at Vinh Tuy before taking a back road to travel through the prosperous lowland of Ha Giang province. This region stretches for over 50km long, lying between the Chay and Lo rivers with dozens of beautiful valleys separated by low mountain passages and being homes to the Tay ethnic peoples.
-16.00 stop for visiting Chi village consisting of nearly 100 wooden houses built on stilts in the traditional style of the Tay which lies at the center of a spectacular valley.
-17.00 leaving Chi village for Quang Binh town let little bit late. Check in hotel, freshen up and Dinner.

•Total driving is 306 km. walking for about two hours for sightseeing and visiting villages.
•Staying overnight Ha Phuong Guesthouse: Air-coned and clean room, private bathroom with hot shower, western toilet.
•Lunch & Dinner: Vietnamese set menu



Day 2: Quang Binh – Nam An –  Ha Giang – Bac Me (B,L,D)

-Breakfast and leaving Quang Binh at 08.00 and driving 12 km to My Bac Commune and spend 20 minutes to visit the communal market before walking around My Pac village, paying visit to local homes to discover the unique culture of the Pa Then ethnic peoples. There is opportunities to see Pa Then women making traditional brocade and costumes.
-09.30: Leaving My Pac Village and driving 37 km for about an hour to Nam An. This is a special tip of the day! At the top of the mountain pass about 3 km for the main road, great view of the below valleys, the Lo river… opens wide and far. Nam An used to be a narrow and deep valley, built into a lake for water storage to run a hydraulic power plant and now has become spectacular lake with a peninsular for eco-tourist sport. The group will spend an hour walking around the lake to pay visit to a Red Zao village whose culture and living style is remaining as its was for hundreds of years. Lunch in a house built by the water and relax. Clients may swim in the emerald clear water or moving around the lake on bamboo rafts or boats.
-Leaving Nam An at about 13.30 driving 45 km to Ha Giang. Clients will enjoy stunning landscapes along the Lo river. Paying visit to a beautiful valley located 3 km from Ha Giang township. Walk about 3 km around Me village of the Tay ethnic peoples, visiting local homes for discovery of the Tay’s way of life.
-Continue the road trip through Ha Giang, along national road 34 for an hour and arrive to the upstream region of the Na Hang reservoir. Stop for visiting the village of the immigrants who have given their land for the construction of the Na Hang hydraulic power plant and some other small hamlets of the Tay and Zao scattering around a stunning valley, surrounded by high mountains and lush forest.
-Drive the last portion of the road to Bac Me town let, arriving in Bac Me at about 17.30. Check in hotel and free walk to explore this charming town let, which is beautifully set on the bank of the Gam river.

•Total driving is 145 km. walking about two and a half hours for sightseeing and visiting villages.
•Staying overnight at Song Gam hotel: Air-coned and clean room, private bathroom with hot shower, western toilet.

Day 3: Bac Me – Meo Vac – Dong Van( B,L,D)


-Breakfast, check out hotel at 08.00 and departure for Meo Vac. The first portion 47 km of the road weaves its way along the the Gam river amongst high mountains and thick forest offers beautiful scenery with several photo stops. 
-Crossing the Gam river and following the newly built road uphill for about 27 km, the group will arrive to Niem Son commune and spend almost an hour here for visiting the local market and paying visit to a small village of the H’mong ethnic peoples.
-Driving 25 km uphill through the remote and deserted region to Meo Vac. From here visitors will see the contrast between the tough topography and climate of this remote highland and what they have seen in two days before while traveling through the lower land. Getting close to Meo Vac, there appeared some small hamlets of the H’mong built on the immense limestone hill sides. Stop for visiting one of these hamlets for the first impression of the very hard life on this mysterious limestone highland.
-Arriving in Meo Vac at noon, take a quick look at the market and lunch break.
-After Lunch, the group will pay visit to a small village of the Lolo, an ethnic group with only about 4,700 peoples near the town before leaving Meo Vac for the real discovery of the limestone highland. The narrow road winds its way on the wall-up and deserted limestone mountain side with the view of a valley deep down where the Nho Que river sneaking, bending…amidst mountain feet. This is Ma Pi Leng, one of the most famous mountain passes in Vietnam for its magnificent beauty and danger! After several stops for spectacular land scapes, the group will take a walk for half an hour to visit Ma Pi Leng village of the H’mong which is consisted of only about 20 houses built on the rocky land. Here visitor will see unimaginable and hard life of the H’mong living on this highland for hundreds of years. Also here the true value of cultivated land and water can be seen!
-Continue along the road for 16 km to Dong Van. Check in hotel upon arrival and having a short rest.
-At about 17.00, the group gathers again for a leisure walk around the market place and the old street of Dong Van. It is really a good chance to see one of the uniqueness of local minority life If on Saturday. This part will be crowded and lively for many H’mong and Zao peoples come from remote and isolated villages to attend the week-end market which took place from early Sunday.

Day 4: Dong Van – Lung Cu - Vuong Palace – Pho Bang – Yen Minh – Quan Ba (B,L,D)


-Breakfast, check out hotel at 08.00 and drive 26 km to Lung Cu commune located on the northernmost tip of Dong Van highland and Vietnam as well. Here clients will pay visiting to two villages: One of the H’mong ethnic – majority of Dong Van district - and one of the Red Lolo – A very small ethnic group. 
•If on Friday: The group will leave Dong Van earlier for having about an hour more to attend the communal market of Lung Cu, which is colorful and interesting.
•If on Sunday: Spend 2 hours in the morning for attending the famous Dong Van market and leave for Lung Cu at 09.30. In this case arriving in Quan Ba late at about 19.00.

-Leaving Lung Cu down hill for about 25 km, the group will enjoy sightseeing at the famous historical and cultural site: The Vuong Family Palace once ruled over the H’mong in the region and popularly known as King of the H’mong.
-Continue by road for 17 km to Sung La commune beautifully set at the foot of Pho Cao mountain pass. Here the group will walk around the Lung Cam village, paying visiting to H’mong families, especially the very old typical and beautiful house here.
-Driving uphill a stunning mountain pass, enjoy viewing stop before turning right for 5 km to Pho Bang ancient town let. This town let was built hundreds of years ago as a regional trading center between the local and Chinese traders. Walking for about an hour to explore this charming town let which is featured with two storey wooden houses, clay walled, Yin and Yang tiled roofs and leisure atmosphere.
-Leaving Pho Bang for a driving down hill to a lush valley where Yen Minh town let located for late lunch break.
-Leaving Yen Minh for a drive uphill of a long and high mountain pass, enjoying marvelous scenery the lush forest and stop at the top of the pass for great view of the surrounding region.
-Take a break at the foot of the pass far walking to visit a village of the La Chi, another small ethnic group with only over 3,000 individuals in Vietnam whose culture is really unique and strong.
-Continue by road 4C along the Mtem river for an hour, walking to visit Nam Dam village of the Zao ao dai (Zao with long dress) located at the center of a large and stunning valley before arriving in Tam Son town let of Quan Ba district. Day 5: Quan Ba – Ha Giang – Ha Noi (B,L,-)


-Breakfast and check out hotel for a long driving day back to Hanoi today. 
-Driving uphill 5 km to the top of Quan Ba mountain pass, stop for admiring the magnificent scenery and great view of Quan Ba valley. Then driving few kilometers further for visiting the Quyet Tien Commune locating near the top of Quan Ba pass at 1000 m above sea level. Hear the group will spend an hour enjoying marvel of nature and paying visit to 2 villages: One is Lung Muoi village of the H’mong with traditional living style of the highlander ethnics and the other, Vinh Tien village of the Kinh peoples immigrated to the region in 1980s in a government project attempting to give local minority ethnic peoples an example about intensive farming so that they can learn better farming technique from these immigrants.
-Driving downhill for another hour and take a coffee stop at Ha Giang before continue along national road 2 to Bac Quang. Lunch break.
-The whole afternoon is for traveling along national road 2 for Hanoi with several stops along the way.
-Arrive in Hanoi in late afternoon at about 19.00 to end up the trip

Day 01: Hanoi arrival (D) 

Airport reception and transfer to downtown. First visits to the city, organized according to time of arrival. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02: Hanoi - Perfume Pagoda - Hanoi (B, L, D)

Starting at 8:00 am from Hanoi to the Perfume Pagoda (62 km) southwest of Hanoi, a place of Buddhist pilgrimage in the region. It is reached by land and by river. Boat trip on the canal surrounded by rice fields out of sight, visit the Pagoda, which is in a string of sugarloaf hills in all shades of blue, green and gray-blue in a green landscape woodland, with stretches of mist, water changing, silence. We cross a few people working boats, transporters, fishermen. Return to Hanoi in late afternoon, stopping to visit the silk village of Van Phuc.

Day 03: Ha Noi - Mai Chau (160 km) (L, D) 

In our jeep, we start from your hotel and take the road through the infamous traffic of Hanoi. When we go out of town (just 10 km), we will quickly find ourselves in the country life of Vietnam. On the road to Hoa Binh, we pass through a region of spectacular limestone mountains, passes and valleys, then descend to the valley of Mai Chau Thai people. We spend the afternoon walking around the two villages and Pom Coom Lake to learn more about Thai people, and finally experience their hospitality with a night in their house on stilts.

Day 04: Mai Chau - Moc Chau - Son La (160 km) (B)

Today we'll drive about the same distance as we made our trip to Mai Chau. The road to Son La is lined with orchards, tea plantations, towering montagnes.Les chance to meet and talk to black ethnic Thai, White Thai, Hmong and Muong are numerous. In the afternoon we visit the prison museum Son La, which remains as a poignant reminder of the injustices of the old French colonial rule. Overnight at Hotel Cong Doan. Includes: (B)

Day 05: Son La - Dien Bien Phu (170 km) (B). 

Another beautiful day on the road. We will visit small villages and tribal meet more people along our trip to Dien Bien Phu. Stop for lunch in Tuan Giao before continuing on to Dien Bien. Afternoon at Dien Bien Phu - the last base of French power in Indochina where we will visit monuments, museums, war relics and bunkers kept all tell the story of the final and victorious liberating battle of 1954. Day 06:. Dien Bien Phu - Muong Lay - Lai Chau (200 km) (B) 

With about 6-7 hours of driving adventure today, our journey is steep and often rugged. The road through the valley of Lai Chau is both breathtaking landscapes covered with terraced rice fields along the rivers to ford slopes and turbulent. That day you will have a chance to see the hill tribes of the most beautiful in Northern Vietnam such as the Hmong, Thai Black, Black Dao, and Pazi. Day 07: Lai Chau - Sapa (90 km) (B) 

A morning walk around this peaceful town you can take time to explore the market before hitting the road. We climb to the Tram Ton Pass, the highest in Viet Nam. We are rewarded by magnificent views of mountain ranges in the north, the highest in South Asia. We will ensuiteexperimenter a radical change in climate that we are approaching the town of Sapa - a mountain resort. The city is surrounded by majestic peaks, often shrouded in clouds. Day 08: Sapa - Ta Phin, trekking and homestay (4:00) (B, L, D).

Take a short ride from Sapa to our trekking base where we start our trek through terraced rice fields and Hmong villages. Chances to meet and talk with people who work in the fields are plentiful. We'll pause for a picnic en route then continue trekking to Ta Phin village of Dao people (4 hours). Day 09: Ta Phin - Sapa (4:00) (B, L)

At the first light, you will see and hear the sounds of village life in the morning. After breakfast, we'll take a short walk around the village for about 1 hour, resulting in more time spent with the host family. When we return to Sapa you will have the afternoon for some free time to discover the secrets of this colorful city

Day 10: Sa Pa-Muong Khuong - Cao Son (B) 

Muong Khuong transfer by bus to visit the market of Muong Khuong (held once a week), meeting place of minorities in the region, including Mong colorful. Grnad highlight ethnic groups with trade. The Walk is an opportunity for us to immerse ourselves in daily life in the mountains and especially it is not a tourist ... Tranfer Cao Son village situated at 1300 meters elevation. Day 11: Cao Son - Muong Lum (B, L, D) 

We descend by marked footpaths in a little valley through fields of cassava and maize. The trek is difficult with some steep climbs and descents on foot, but the views are incredible. Day 12: Muong Lum - Trek - Ban Cam-Bac Ha (B, L, D) 

Admire the spectacular scenery and simple lifestyle of ethnic minorities are a highlight of the trip although conditions are very simple. En route, apied to Ban Cam we have the chance to meet locals, very friendly and welcoming. We find our bus and transfer to Bac Ha, a high plateau at 100 above sea Night at the hotel

Day 13: Bac Ha - Trekking - Na Lo (B, L, D) 

After breakfast, start trekking for the day. We'll take a limestone mountain with a height of 1200 to 1300 meters. After about 3 hours walking we reach the summit where we stopped to admire the beautiful landscapes that offer a view: rice terraces, vegetation, villages of ethnic tribes. Pinque Lunch - picnic.
The afternoon we descend the mountain across the rice fields. After several hours of walking on a flat road, we reach the village of Ta Van Chu composed of about fifty families of the Mong ethnic group in bloom (or Mong camouflage). This village, located not far from anything the town of Bac Ha, remains very isolated by the valleys. Dinner and overnight at the inhabitant in a house on stilts.
The Mong bloom is a small group of local ethnic Mong (consisting of 600 000 individuals in total), immigrated from southern China in the late 18th century. The other factions are: Green Mong Mong red, black Mong Mong Na OADM and white.

Day 14: Na Lo - Xin Man - Hoang Phi Xu - Pan Hou (B) 

We're going on road to go west to the discovery of another region, province of Ha Giang. Day 15: Pan-Hou Trekking - Pan Hou (B, L, D) 

We will cross this morning a small hill for us to a village populated Veins Dao, before reaching the summit of a high hill where we will have a panoramic view of the region. Lunch at the people who are very nice and careful, we booze even noon here!!

The Dao ethnic group in Vietnam has about 500 000 people divided into a dozen factions premises. They occupied land at any altitude in the regions of the Far North of Vietnam. Day 16: Pan Hou - Dong Van (B) 

After déeuner small, we take the road to Dong Van. It crosses two passes in large celestial heights nicknamed Doors to Quan Ba and Yen Minh with magnificent views overlooking the valleys below. Dong Van has arivée after many stops for visits vilages inhabited by different ethnic groups along the way: to Pho Bang, a village inhabited by the Han, the very style chinos and old residence of King Sa Phin Meo. Day 17: Dong Van - weekly walking tour of Dong Van and Meo Vac (B) 

The day is special for the tribes of the region. They descend from villages nestled in the mountains to attend their Sunday markets. We believe in a parade of clothes in all colors from the tribal Hmong, Dao, Tay, Nung. The exchanges are in a half day and then take the following feasts in the corners of restaurants with the ambiance Aboriginal particular. Following this visit, we go to Meo Vac, border town which is famous also for its Sunday market, but completely different to that of Dong Van. There, animals are for sale in large numbers. Day 18: Meo Vac - Lung Phin - Yen Minh - Vi Xuyen (B) 

Departure by road to the south. We make the road up and down constantly. The region is very ercarpée and wild, inhabited by the Hmong. They grow well up on barren rocky and steep. Day 21: Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Tam Coc (B, L, D) 

Early arrival in Hanoi. Shower and breakfast in a mini - hotel then transfer to Ninh Binh. Visit the village of Ga Kenh after a 2-hour cruise on the Hoang Long River. Transfer to Hoa Lu to visit the temples of the kings Dinh and Le, then cycling tour from Hoa Lu to Tam Coc on a track of 12 km through rice fields, villages and sugar loaves. Arrival to Tam Coc. Day 22: Tam Coc - Bich Dong - Phat Diem - Tam Coc 

Boat ride across a small cave dug under the mountain. Depending on the time you have left, you can climb the mountain karst to discover a panoramic view of the valley. Afternoon departure to Phat Diem (35 km from Ninh Binh). Phat Diem cathedral built of stone and wood in 1891 is the symbol of the Church of Vietnam. It is remarkable for its very large and very original Vietnamese style. It suggests both a temple and a palace. The timbers are covered with a lace sculptures, the chorus is very rich, and its red and gold decoration resembles that of the pagodas.

Day 23: Tam Coc-Halong (B, L, D) 

Transfer to Halong Bay, the eighth wonder of the world through the provinces of Nam Dinh and Thai Binh with a stop at the Keo Pagoda, Buddhist pagoda wooden architecture particularly original. The citadel, protected by walls 60 meters high, is surrounded by wide moat and 10 km long (Visit the Esplanade of the great salvation of the Palace of Supreme Harmony, the Hall of Kings Nguyen). Small sampan ride on the Perfume River, a river that makes the romantic reputation of Hue to the Heavenly Lady Pagoda, Buddhist shrine dating from the mid 17th century, built on the ruins of a temple Field. Day 29: Hue - Phong Nha - Nhat Le (B, L, D)

Covering an area of over 115,500 hectares, Yok Don National Park is an ideal shelter for wild animals, particularly primates, hoofed mammals and squirrels, which are characteristic for the fauna of Southeast Asia. Day 35: Buon Ma Thuot - Lak Lake (B, L, D) 

Morning visit to the waterfalls of virgin (Dray Sap, Dray Nu), a group of two cascades, each measuring 40 to 45 m high (the largest on some 200 m wide) in a great, wild and well preserved. The after - noon, visit the ethnographic museum and the village inhabited by Aco Dhong Ede. Day 36: Lak - Buon Ma Thuot - Da Lat (B, L, D) 

In the morning we'll take a trip on an elephant across the lake to the village Lak Jun, then excursion by boat to the village of M'lien. Drive to Da Lat, a city crowded by Saigon because of its mild climate and its atmosphere. Overnight at hotel.

Day 37: Da Lat - Ho Chi Minh City (B, L, D) 

Visit Da Lat (the old station, the palace of Bao Dai, the valley of love, the central lake). In the afternoon, transfer to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Reception at the airport in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to hotel in the center of town. Rest of time free.

Full-day tour of the former Sai Gon, who renamed Ho Chi Minh City in 1976 after the departure of U.S., remains today the largest city (7 million) and has become the economic capital the country. Visit the Central Post Office, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Thien Hau Temple dedicated to the goddess of the sea, protector of seafarers, Reunification Palace, Cholon Chinese district, having been the setting of the movie The Lover. DAY 40: PHU QUOC

Optional tours and activities:
- Diving: For beginners or enthusiasts, the island is ideal for diving. Its rich flora and fauna make it a destination of choice.
- Night fishing for squid: Embark on a boat with local fishermen for a fishing trip you eat, cooked on the barbecue, your catch of the night. Atmosphere guaranteed.
- Visits to the famous traditional nuoc mam and prison Phu Quoc (half day).
Several distilleries nuoc mam easily identifiable to the heady smell it emerges, are open to visitors on the island. Local production reached about six million liters of which is exported mostly to the continent and the world.

DAY 41: PHU QUOC

DAY 42: PHU QUOC / SAIGON 

• Transfer to airport for flight to Phu Quoc Saigon (departures: 7:35, 8:15, 8:55, 9:55, 10:55, 11:35, 2:55 p.m. or 3:35 p.m.)
• Free meals. Night at the hotel Hociminh city

Day 43: Ho Chi Minh City - Xeo Quyt - Can Tho (B, L, D) 

Transfer by car to My Hiep (Dong Thap province) located in the heart of the Mekong Delta. Embarking on a Dioptre to visit this county who is the former military base of Vietnam veterans and is surrounded by trees cajeputiers. Tourists do not find concrete, bricks in this place works but restored based on wood, bamboo, coconut leaves and cajeputier. Day 44: Can Tho - Soc Trang - Can Tho (B, L, D) 

Wake up early. Boat tour of the Phong Dien floating market to watch the bustling life of the delta. Transfer to Soc Trang, a town 65 km from Can Tho. Visit Soc Trang Pagoda My Toc, better known as the "pagoda to bat" because of the many bats that hang from the branches of apple trees in milk. This Khmer pagoda dates from the late 16th century, the Pagoda of clay, which takes its name from the statues made of clay and it also houses a candle apparently burned for several years. Return to Can Tho in the end of the day. Dinner and evening free, overnight at the hotel.

Day 45 Can Tho - Sa Dec - Chau Doc (150km - 3hrs drive) 

Breakfast at the hotel. Early departure to visit one of the many floating markets. Visit an ark of Cai Rang. Continuation of the visit of a house in Binh Thuy, mandarin which was filmed the movie The Lover. Lunch on the road. Departure Sadec, school visit or Marguerite Duras has studied in his youth. Continue to Chau Doc. Visit the Mekong by sampan, the village of Ham, and fish farming, visit the Sam Mountain, Thoai Ngoc Hau temple, the Pagoda of Ba Chua Xu. Overnight at the Hotel Ben Da Nui Sam Chau or Long or similar.

Day 46: Chau Doc 

Breakfast. Free time (no bus or guide). Overnight at the Hotel Ben Da Nui Sam Chau or Long or similar.

Day 47: Chau Doc - Ha Tien (160km - 03h30h Road) / Kep 

Breakfast. Leisure, then transfer to the border from Ha Tien.
Crossing the border post of Ha Tien / Prek Chak. After visa formalities, transfer with your guide to the direction of Kep.
