The 3-day tour includes the most important travel highlights in the northern Vietnam – Sapa and Halong bay. Take the overnight train to Laocai then enjoy a full day hike through terraced rice fields, local H’mong and Dzao villages. You have about 5 hour boat cruise in Halong bay on day 3. If your group size is big enough, we would recommend you booking a chartered boat junk offering you a complete flexibility while cruising.

Itinerary:

I booked a 3 day trek, and thoroughly enjoyed my time with Chi - a knowledgeable, fun and helpful guide. Chi made sure that we got off the beaten track as much as possible, and we walked in regions and villages that aren't usually explored - even ended up at a local wedding!!

Lotussia Travel do indeed charge more for their treks, and it is well worth putting money into a community that rewards its members and their families appropriately, consistently and fairly. Brilliant enterprise!
The trek we went on left from Hmong Mountain Retreat and winded through three adjacent villages, through bamboo forest and past waterfalls with stunning views throughout. Our guide, Cho, was charming and informative and whilst it wasn’t too cheap ($33 per person) it was worth it to be a customer of a local, enterprising employer
We booked on line 2 nights with a home stay we wrote on the email that we are in a good shape and we want a rough hike in non toursited areas!
We got a lovely guide Chi but very fast we understood that there is just one path... U walk for 3 hours walk with doezens of tourist lunch witth them all and walk just one more hour to the home stay... That was just great!
But the next day we wanted to start early we started at 10 ! Walked one more hour and that was that! We wanted a rough hike but you can't bit the system ;) but still it was well orgenized and Chi was lovely but don't think that it a track just a short walk
