Day 1, Ha Noi – Vu Linh

Day 1, Hanoi - Vulinh, 180 km, 5hr ride, home stay.

Leaving Hanoi, we ride up to the North of the country by taking a small road going along the Red river dike. Enjoy the Red river scenery as we ride through country and extensive farming lands comprising a sea of paddy fields split by tree-lined roads. Meet the daily life in the wild environment. Lunch at a local restaurant in Viet Tri or Doan Hung Town. Arrive in Vulinh in late afternoon, here we stay overnight with our friends of the Dao's minority in a traditional stilt house


 Day 2, Vulinh – Ha Giang, 180 km, 5 hr ride. Home - Stay

Ha Giang, 300 km away from Hanoi, located at the highest latitude in Vietnam. It is surrounded by Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, and Yen Bai. It shares a border with China in the north. Many ethnic minorities, including the Dao, H’mong, Tay, and Nung, live in Ha Giang province Vietnam.

Beautiful ride today along the Thac Ba lake, during your ride, you will have chances to visit many roadside ethnic villages. Lunch in Tuyen Quang town. Continue to Ha Giang for overnight in a family of the Tay peoples.

Day 3,Ha Giang – Dong Van – Mèo Vac, 180km, Standard hotel

Dong Van Town is located in the heart of Dong Van Rock Plateau, which was recognised as part of the Global Geo-Park Network last year, the Dong Van old quarter is home to age old and unique architecture near Ha Giang Province's border with China

Today’s ride must be highlights of the trip as we will visit one of the most remote land in Vietnam where are special with many ethnic groups with their unique cultures and imposing mountains – the “Heaven Gate” in Quan Ba, Rock Plateau and the Vuong palace in Dong Van. Ma Pi Leng Pass. Arrive in Meo vac in the late afternoon.

Day 4, Meo Vac -  Ba Be, 180km, 6hr ride. Home-stay.

After breakfast, We leave Meo Vac for Ba Be. The scenic route climbs over many Passes where we can enjoy beautiful mountain ranges and the Nho Que river - Just an amazing place to be, Lunch in a local restaurant in Bao Lac, After 30 km riding on paved road after Bao Lac, we will take a small beautiful trail going thought the jungle, we ride across many streams and river, a great day for off-road ride. Continue to Babe lake where the landscape is amazing and the home stay is another unique experience. Dinner and overnight in home stay of a Tay family.

Day 5, Visit Ba Be, Home-stay in the Tay village..

Ba Be is Vietnam’s largest natural lake and is now the centrepiece of an extensive National Park. The park and the surrounding area is limestone country, so lakes, waterfalls, caves and unusual rock formations abound. The whole area is richly forested and home to many ethnic minority communities.


After visiting a local market (if on the market day), we will load the bikes on a small boat and start a boat trip to discover the beautiful lake and its National park. Stop for a pich-nich lunch in a cave. Right after the cave we will unload the bikes from the boat and take a ride to Don Den pass, visite the Vang village near by a water fall. Return to our village where we will have 2th night with the family.

Day 6, Ba Be Lake – Hanoi, 240km 7 hr ride.

Staying off the main road for as long as possible we head back towards the Red River Delta, passing through areas inhabited by Hmong, Dao, Tay and Nung minority peoples. A mixture of both challenging track and glorious sealed road all the way back to Hanoi. Tour ends.
